Dom Con Pony Show 2018

Don’t forget to come out to Los Angeles Dom Con this weekend.

Saturday, May 12th, there will be a pet show in room B2 at 1:00 pm.

At 3 pm 3 PM there will be a pony show, guaranteed to delight and titillate you. Get your seat early; it is always standing room only!  This is one of our biggest annual events, and it could be YOUR time to shine!

UPCOMING: DERBY DAY IN MAY!

Derby Day is one of the LAPCC’s oldest and most treasured events.  Held on the same day as the Kentucky Derby, May 5th, this year’s human pony races might just be the best yet!

This event benefits the No-Kill Los Angeles Adoption Center. Doors open at 10 am. We ask for a donation of $20.00 at the door (though you can provide more if you like!) for betting tickets. All of the betting ticket money goes directly to the No-Kill Los Angeles Adoption Center.  We love bio pets and want to help them!

This year’s Derby is especially awesome because we have prizes: ONE-DAY SATURDAY PASSES TO DOM CON LA.

One pony and one critter (puppy, or kittens, foxes, or others who want to particpate) with the most ribbon points will win a pass!

Betting:

Everyone coming through the door receives 6 tickets. You may purchase betting tickets for $1 each. You cannot participate in the betting nor the Arcade Game without tickets. There will be a sign that explains how the win bets of each race are determined. All bets are placed before each race. Two winners from each race win EQUUS all-natural, handcrafted soap that have been donated to our LAPACC.

Dress code:

The dress code is formal attire or high fetish attire or your Best.

Best Hat Contest:

In keeping with the traditions of the Kentucky Derby, we have a Saturday Day Pass to LA Dom Con for the Best Hat. If you are not familiar with this Derby tradition, Google it, and you will see the hat is everything!

Races for the Day:

  • Derby Race
  • Steeplechase Race
  • Greyhound Race (volunteer bunny needed for the pups to chase!)
  • Pacer Race
  • Puppy Hurdle Race
  • Trotter Race

Location:

Mozingo Manor, Granada Hills
Use the Contact us form to receive the exact address.

See you there!

April Pet Events at IMsLBB, 2018

2018 is a special year because there’s a new event at IMsLBB!

The International Ms. Leather and the International Ms. Boot Black titles are this weekend (April 19 – 22) in San Jose, California, and you won’t want to miss it!  Here is the page for IMsLBB.

The Pet Park  is a new feature that includes mats, toys, tunnels, pet beds… and LAPCC’s very own Miss Ann as a Park Ranger!

All pets and pet types are welcome.  There are two moshes:

*Mosh #1 (non-PG) is 3-4pm in the Playspace dungeon Friday
*Mosh #2 (PG) is 1-3 pm in the Pet Park.

Plus… pet washes!

Pet wash times:
  • Friday, 2 pm – 3:30 pm
  • Saturday, 10 am -12 pm
  • Sunday, 9 am  – 10 pm and 2 pm – 3 pm

Depending on how your pet feels about being washed, this might be a good time to bond, cuddle, groom, and pamper… or to punish naughty, dirty pets.

Hope to see you there!

Spring Fox Hunt 2018!

Foxes, pups, ponies, and hunters! ARE YOU READY?!

This weekend is our spring fox hunt and we are going to a NEW campground: Sycamore Canyon, which is located 15 miles north of Malibu in Mugu Point State Park.  The hunt starts at 10 am sharp on Saturday, but we will be camping Friday night, and you’re welcome to join us!  As always, spectators are welcome, too.  After the hunt there will be a potluck Feast… bring a dish!

Questions? Join us today, Wednesday, April 11th, for a social dinner to discuss the fox hunt. We will be at Delicious Pizza restaurant, located at 5419 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016, at 7 pm.  Look for the plush pony on the table, and come say hi!  We always love meeting new friends.

Even more wonderful resources just for you!

As you hopefully know by now, EQUUS is coming up in just two shorts weeks!  If you aren’t aware of EQUUS, that’s okay… there’s still time to buy tickets!  EQUUS is an international pony play event that takes place for one glorious weekend, currently has 25 registered human ponies, and is hosting both the Queen’s Cup as well as the 2015 leather title for North American Pony/Trainer.  So it’s kind of a big deal.

Now, we understand that an event as big and shiny as EQUUS might be a little daunting to some of you folks who are new, inexperienced, or have only just discovered human-animal roleplay.

Which is why the ever-incredible subMissAnn will be hosting a PetPlay 101 class with Stockroom University, and is inviting you to come along and enjoy the fun!  Stockroom University is located at 2811 W. Sunset Boulevard, and whether you’re new to the scene or quite familiar with it, we would love to see you there.

If you just can’t wait, we are having our last “Hump Day Social” before EQUUS this Wednesday at Canter’s Del ion Fairfax  at 7 pm.  (“Canter,” you’ll be happy to notice, is a not-so-subtle horse pun.)  Our socials are a safe, vanilla place for people to come meet out club, talk to our members, and ask any questions they might have for us.

If you’re not quite ready for an event yet, that’s okay too, because we have added a Resources page for you to learn about human-animal roleplay.  You can find the link here, or you can select it the “About” menu at the top of the page.

Also, this coming week, we will begin sending out a monthly newsletter that details all our events for the coming months.  You can sign up here.

As always, we would like to remind our readers that our calendar is always kept updated about events that our club is directly involved with or planning to attend; you will always be able to find us at these events and we will welcome you there with open arms!  Or wings!  Or both, if we’re pegasuses!  …pegasi?  Never mind!  Come anyway, and tell us which version is correct.  (Pegasuseses…?)

This August, the Biggest Human Pony Event EVER!!!

Have you heard of EQUUS?  It’s an international pony play event that’s being held for the first time ever here in Los Angeles, and it’s kind of a big deal.

This event is like Western Day, the Jamboree, and DomCon all rolled into one fabulous weekend!

Ponies, trainers, and handlers can meet each other and compete in races, dressage events, reining and gait events, plus freestyle and open corral.  There are games to play, ribbons to win, and a mouth-watering selection of goodies being auctioned or sold by a huge number of vendors.  Whether you’re obsessed with pony play or just getting into it, this event will have something for you!

What’s more, there will be an elegant Friday dinner party at a private location with an outdoor corral for ponies, evening dungeon play parties, and  presentations on pony handling, suspension and rigging, and leather care.

This event also hosts the North American Pony/Trainer Leather Title and the Queen’s Cup.

So when is it, and where can I sign up??

EQUUS is primarily being held at Sanctuary in Los Angeles, near LAX airport.  The event takes place from August 7th to August 9th (Friday – Sunday).

There is limited space and time to sign up, so buy your tickets here!
