We were blessed, and invited to a large estate that has a Pony Carting track around the rim of it. It is blocked from view of the public by a tall wall around the perimeter of the estate. While carting, there was no one around us, just the Pony in a mask and the Rider. Coming back to the barn we engaged in the most folks, our Los Angeles Pony and Critter Club pod of four folks. There was a live stream video of us, and those videographers stayed more than six feet away at all times. The host came by to great us, masked and we touched elbows. Our afternoon was glorious, filled with sunshine and Pony Play. Arriving around 1 PM, the bulk of guests were to arrive for an Art Show at 4 PM. There were a few early comers as the afternoon went on. We enrolled one guest to try out being a Pony (oh my gosh, she loved it) and two guests to take reins (geez, they really loved it) because this is how we roll.

The Parks and Recreation Department ordered a local closure of the forest in the Rose Valley Campground area this morning until October 4th. They apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The Fox Hunt is cancelled.

Look everyone, we’re famous!

It was recently brought to our attention that the Wikipedia entry for Animal Roleplay references our Fox Hunts, as follows:

One group, the LA Ponies and Critters Club, takes the community idea of BDSM animal roleplay further by staging a mock foxhunt in local forested areas. These events bring together ponyplayers, puppyplayers and their respective humans for a cooperative, community bonding activity. One of the canine players volunteers to be the “fox” and marks a trail in the forest. The other puppyplayers form the pack of “hounds” that search out the fox and bark/howl to bring the ponyplayers and their “riders” to capture the “fox.

How exciting is that?

In case you missed the Los Angeles DomCon Pet Awards (generously hosted by submissann and Mistress Ellen), Petplay Palace has made the full-length video available.  Puppies, kittens, foxes, and even a zebrabee (beebra?) strut their stuff in front of three judges, but only one will take home Best in Show!

Ever wanted to take a ride in a pony cart?  Well, now you can… virtually!  Check out any of the three videos below to experience the 2014 Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco from the rider’s point of view.

This year, we had our Fox Hunt at Heaton Flats in the San Gabriel Mountains.  Who doesn’t love camping?!  With three foxes and three hounds, the Hunt could have gone either way.  But this was truly a year for the foxes… all three of those wily critters got away.  Good job, little ones!  Below are some videos.  Shot from the rider’s point of view, these videos will let you re-live the Hunt whether you were there or not!
